The Need

 
Tile Giant required a bespoke online training focused on Legionella Monitoring and Awareness, tailored specifically to their company processes and operational responsibilities.

This training needed to be delivered in a way that was:

• Mandatory, with clear evidence of completion and understanding
• Fully aligned to Tile Giant’s own procedures, not generic compliance content
• Engaging enough to maintain attention while covering a critical health and safety topic
• Structured to allow targeted refreshers once initial completion had been achieved
• To be distributed to over 200 employees to make sure all training is delivered at the same standard

A key requirement was control. Learners needed to complete the full course on first access, achieve a minimum pass mark, and only then be allowed to revisit specific sections as refreshers.

The Solution

 
Skillshub worked closely with Tile Giant to design and develop a fully bespoke eLearning module, totalling approximately 30 minutes, built entirely around Tile Giant’s own Legionella monitoring processes and compliance requirements.

The learning was developed specifically to be hosted within the Skillshub LMS, ensuring smooth deployment, tracking and reporting without introducing a new platform.

The approach followed a structured, consultative design process, including:

• An initial scoping and design consultation to understand operational risks and requirements
• Collaborative creation and sign-off of scripts and storyboards before production
• Development of branded visual templates, aligned to Tile Giant’s look and feel
• Creation of an interactive eLearning experience, using animation, engagement touchpoints and assessments
• Integration of knowledge checks and a final assessment, with a required pass mark of 80% or above
• Inclusion of a resources library, accessible during and after completion

The course was intentionally designed so that:

• First-time access requires full completion
• Only after passing the assessment can learners navigate directly to specific sections
• The same learning supports both initial compliance and ongoing refresher needs

 
The bespoke solution provided Tile Giant with a future-proof compliance learning asset, fully aligned to their organisation and delivered through their existing LMS.
