Can we see how long staff are spending on the platform?

Not in terms of exact time spent, no. The platform does not track the precise number of minutes or hours a learner spends logged in or working through a course, so this is not a metric you will be able to report on.

What you can see, though, is arguably more useful. Administrators have clear visibility of completion data, including which courses have been accessed, what learners have completed, and what is still outstanding. So while you cannot measure how long someone has spent, you can see exactly what they have done and how far they have progressed.

This focus on completion rather than time is deliberate, and it reflects what genuinely matters in learning. Time spent on a platform is not really a measure of how much someone has learned. A learner who works through a course efficiently has not engaged any less than one who took longer, so completion and progress give a far more meaningful picture of where your people are than a raw time count would.
