What is an LMS?

An LMS, or learning management system, is software for delivering, managing and tracking training in one place. It is the central hub where an organisation hosts its courses, enrols learners, sets the training they need to complete and keeps a record of who has done what. Rather than running training through a mix of spreadsheets, emails and in-person sessions, you run it through a single platform that handles both the delivery and the admin behind it.
