Job description

• Liaise with internal and external clients to determine reporting requirements and document
• Build new reports in accordance with agreed schedule and change control process
• Work with clients to ensure quality of reporting solutions through agreed testing approach
• Determine and maintain standards for building reports
• Provide support for existing suite of reports and all new reports
• Manage the report scheduling system
• Instigate and participate in all necessary cross training activities for Client Reporting functions
• Assist all other members of staff in any reasonable way to ensure the achievement of business goals

• At least 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry
• At least 2 years’ exposure to the investment management business
• In depth knowledge of financial statements in the Investment Management industry, e.g. Valuation and pricing of Investment and Unit Trusts, OEICs, performance reporting etc.
• Solid experience as a reporting user of Business Objects
• Knowledge of universe design and development an advantage
• Fund accounting or Securities administration background useful

• A qualification in a financial services or IT discipline would be an advantage

Good time management, communications and interpersonal skills; numerate; able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines; practical problem solving skills
